bad memories CW for violence, torture, gore, death, etc

• being kidnapped from a bar by the man (strade) he was talking with and finding out he was a serial killer with terrible plans.
• one of strade's victims escapes the basement. ren sounds the alarm to save his own skin, resulting in the first murder he's ever witnessed.
• ren is forced to cut off the arm of a frantic, pleading woman. when he tries to refuse, he's electrocuted by his shock collar.
• as punishment for disobedience, being marched into the basement and having his claws ripped out while strade films it for his deep web show.
• strade lies bleeding to death on the basement floor, begging for help, while ren is too in shock to do anything. all he can think of is every time strade has ever hurt or tortured him.

good (questionably???) memories  CW for captivity, kidnapping

• drunk strade asking ren to order subway and then cuddling with him on the couch to watch a shark documentary
• strade carries ren up from the basement to tend the wounds he's inflicted and coddle him
• meeting up with lawrence at the bar after talking with him online for weeks
• bringing MC home and putting the shock collar on and chaining them to the wall
• ren tells MC, following Lawrence's murder, that he'll take care of them forever

• young ren playing with his siblings as his parents watch
• ren's first time eating chicken hearts
• receiving a bunch of anime shit in the mail
